Adult Volunteer Application
We are accepting application for Adult Volunteers to assist around the Center in various roles. Whether you are a local college or university student, 4-H Alumnae, recently-relocated military personnel, environmentalist, retiree, or just interested in helping with the positive development of regional youth there is plenty to do around our 16-acre campus. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
Volunteer opportunities include program assistance, curriculum development, facilities maintenance, receptionist, class instruction… The possibilities are endless! If you have any questions
Teen Counselor Application
We are accepting applications for Teen Counselors for Cloverbud and other Specialty Camps. Please fill out the application found below and return to the Program Director.
To become a Teen Counselor during Summer Camp, please contact your local 4-H Extension Agent!
SIT Program Application
Not old enough to work Summer Staff, but really want to try it out? The Staff-In-Training (SIT) program offers a select number of qualified teens the opportunity to serve as “junior” staff members for week-long period, with the potential to serve a second week for those with exceptional performance.
Youth Volunteers
If you have a group of youth have a service project in mind, please call the center at 757-253-4931. We are very flexible, and would love to work with your youth on a vast array of projects such as river clean ups!
