Changing lives, one camper at a time

Our center was the first fully dedicated 4-H Center in the Commonwealth and in 2028 we will celebrate our 100th year anniversary! Our goal is to provide exceptional camping experiences for the next generation of leaders.  Our 4-H Junior Camp is heavily subsidized. We do not turn anyone away due to their inability to pay. The pandemic has dealt a crushing blow to our ability to offer these programs in the future at ate that families can afford.  We believe in the value of camp and that camp changes lives.

Throughout this challenging year, we have stayed open to offer a safe space for children to learn and grow. We welcomed back our summer camps in both day camp and resident camp and had a happy and healthy season and we are looking forward to the future!

Please take this opportunity to positively impact the youth of today to build a strong tomorrow.

What is 4-H?

4‑H is delivered by Cooperative Extension—a community of more than 100 public universities across the nation that provides experiences where young people learn by doing. Kids complete hands-on projects in areas like health, science, agriculture and citizenship, in a positive environment where they receive guidance from adult mentors and are encouraged to take on proactive leadership roles. Kids experience 4‑H in every county and parish in the country—through in-school and after-school programs, school and community clubs, and 4‑H camps.
